  1. Instructions for use

1) Connect the power supply to the square sub-display, it will automatically find the zero point of the compass, and then turn to the current input heading angle;

2) According to the needs of the environment, the backlight and digital tube brightness can be adjusted through the buttons on the front panel.

3) When the ship is anchored, it will display the heading; when the ship is sailing, it will display the stern course (this effect can be obtained with the company’s satellite electronic compass antenna, and with other heading equipment, it will display the heading); when the ship is turning , the steering speed of the heading instrument is basically synchronized with the turning of the boat (especially when the yacht is turning fast).

4) Press and hold the brightness button until the digital display C000, click the brightness button here to correct the left and right heading, “+” is right, “-” is left, and can be adjusted 50 degrees left and right.

 

Three-dimensional electronic compass installation and calibration

  1. Install the electronic compass on the top of the driving hall, preferably in the middle, not on both sides, support it with wooden strips, bamboo poles or stainless steel, with an iron or magnetic field space of more than 1 meter between the left and right up and down, and fix the arrow toward the bow.
  2. Insert the azimuth 5-pin plug into the instrument, drive the boat to the open sea, then turn off the power of the instrument, short-circuit the two wires on the plug, and then turn it on again, the instrument display shows “111”.
  3. First, the speed of the boat is controlled at 3-6 knots, the rudder angle is adjusted to 20-30 degrees, then after the boat rotates more than 360 degrees (must be more than one circle), straighten the rudder, and finally disconnect the two lines, the instrument display will show Displays the current heading. Debug is complete.
